The Garden of Uncertainty

The most peaceful people in the world are not those who have the greatest certainty in life, but those who have learned to embrace uncertainty and the unknown.

Embracing uncertainty is an essential part of an artist’s journey. It means living with self-doubt, inner conflict, and solitude more often than most. Yet the process is much like tending a garden. Day after day, you nurture what cannot yet be seen. Only when spring arrives does the garden reveal what has been quietly growing all along.
